Install instructions

In order to play the game using Android, an emulator is needed. Maldives Player is recommended.

Download the WebForAndroid version, then download Maldives Player on your Android phone, and open it.

You have two options to import the game:

  1. You click on the "Add A Game" button where you have to locate the folder where the game's HTML file is located.
  2. Or you can click on "Unpack a Game" in which you locate the game's ZIP file and let the program extract it for you.

With that, you have the game imported and added to the list of games available.

Both the endings are so sad. They both involve a kid, giving up everything to wander into the forest. It's past his bedtime; the shadows creep closer. But he has to keep going, he has no choice. It's chilling, I guess. Especially the fact that so many people just walk past this shrine every day. Thank you for the experience!

Abra I loved this!! The art was really beautiful, the music was chilling and I felt really caught up in this like, twisted fairy tale. You have such a talent for finding and capturing this dream like feeling, the perfect balance of everything working together and also being surprising every step of the way <3

thank you!

oh btw this was based on a dream i had, so i'm glad i captured a dreamlike feeling🙂Thank you again!

i love this video and i'm glad you liked the game❤😘
btw it's not based on any particular myth, it was inspired by a dream:>
also if you take requests, you should check this game jam, it's run by our little community, they're all awesome:>(i'd especially recommend "frozen to the bone") https://itch.io/jam/rpg-maker-horror-game-jam-7

This game has a strange charm to it, and the storyline unfolds in a interesting way. I've always been a sucker for the top down, pixel art, story driven horror games like misao. I think your game had a story that was well worth it, and I'm excited to see what other games you come up with in the future.

I play your game in the video below (with a couple others) and leave more in depth feedback. Also if you'd like, you can vote for your game on my channels community page so that it advances in the bracket I have for best indie game of January. I'll be 3D printing a scene or monster from the winners game to gift to the creator.

Missing deadlines is something I can relate to. I have like, three partially finished games that missed their deadlines and will hopefully come out over the next several months.
